We were picked up on time by a comfortable minibus from the station to By Randolins. the location outside the town center offered a great view of the mountains and the peaceful sound of cow bells. Our room was wonderful and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with amazing local cheeses. the staff, especially Laura at the reception and Michelle the shuttle driver, were incredibly kind and helpful in assisting with train reservations and providing useful recommendations. a great experience!
Cannot find any fault 👌.

Our family had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful winter hiking trails in St. Moritz. It was not only a balm for the soul, but also a perfect back-to-basics experience for our winter vacation. The hostel provided an inexpensive and cozy stay, with ski and bicycle storage facilities available. We also loved that we could book ski passes for the Engadine mountain railways and cableways, making it convenient for us to enjoy a day on the slopes. The quality of winter sports on offer, such as the world's only natural-ice bobsleigh track and the legendary Cresta Run, truly impressed us. a fantastic destination for families who love outdoor activities.
My wife says that it would be great if the hostel had more family-friendly amenities.

I had a very nice stay. the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The value for money of this hotel is hard to match.
Location is quite inconvenient, a very long walk from St Moritz train station. This is a problem for backpackers.

Everything! It was the best place I have stayed during my trip. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The surroundings are beautiful. Extremely clean and functional. Train station pick up/drop off. Wished I could have stayed longer!!!
If there is anything to say that I didn't like - is that once you walked down the mountain, eventually you had to walk back up! :) I also didn't like that I had to leave, would have liked to stay longer!

I recently stayed at Hostel By Randolins in St. Moritz for a business trip. The hotel was chosen by my director and I must say, it was a fantastic choice.
The only minor issue I encountered was that the hostel was basically as expected, so no surprises.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, were very happy to answer any questions. The hotel shuttle was very convenient as they dropped you at the main points in St Moritz. The room was very clean and warm, and had a killer view of the mountains.
The hotel was a bit of a distance from the station, however the hotel shuttle picks you up if you give an advance call before latest 6pm

The only poor thing about this hotel is no free WiFi. Paid one is very very expensive. Chf 5 per 30 min! Omg. Its ridiculus.
I would recommend this hotel if WiFi is free.

Nestled in a picturesque mountain setting, this hotel offers comfortable rooms with great views of the surrounding nature. the showers are excellent and the breakfast is delicious. There is also a convenient ski room for storing your equipment. the hotel provides a free shuttle service, making it easy to explore the nearby walking trails and gondola.
Limited free hotel buses and expensive meal options might pose some challenges without a car.

The rooms are not too bad
The hotel is too far away from the city, It's located in the middle of nowhere, but a beautiful middle of nowhere though, If you stay there longer than a couple of days the lack of a place to cook is really annoying because you have to spend a lot of money in restaurants

During my recent business trip, I had the pleasure of staying at Hostel By Randolins in St. Moritz, a choice made by my director. The first thing that struck me was the impressive wellness area. Equipped with a Finnish sauna, bio sauna, steam bath, and both indoor and outdoor whirlpools, it was the perfect place to unwind after a long day of work. , the infrared cabin provided a unique and invigorating experience.
In terms of minor inconveniences, there wasn't much to complain about during my stay at Hostel By Randolins.

Breatfast was good, warm bread, nice meat and fruit. Seperate shower room is also good condition. Playground outside dorm is very nice. Glacier mountain is just in front of us, when open the window of our dorm.
We booked this hostel knowing that they provide pick up from train station as thier location is far away from the train station. Also in their website it said they provide car pick up. but, maybe because we were late (our train arrived at 21:05pm), I was told by the hostel staff that the last pick up is at 20:30pm, and we have to take a taxi which should cost us around 20chf, but in fact, the taxi costed us 32chf. We should have booked hostel/hotel near train station. The face of one of the female middle-age staff was very cold, no smile at all. We have asked her for check out, but she still started to clean up the table, and let me wait for at least 3minutes. No sense of service. While the other female staff was quite supportive.

Lovely views outside window. Free pickup and drop off from and to the station. Very clean. Quiet. Spacious for families. Sink in room.
Misadvised- the rooms are smaller then they look on the website. No English menus. For the price we had to make our own beds. Half a litre of tap water (warm water) was 2.5 swiss francs from the hotel restaurant. Dinner overpriced and bland. (They were reccomended by the staff as the menu wasn't in English) There was a playpark outside for children, but some of the apparatus seemed unsafe.Overpriced for what we were expecting but so is St Moritz in general.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
